This photo taken between Birdsville and Bedourie, Queensland. The effects of recent rain and people driving on a wet track are clearly visible, and made for some interesting moments when our wheels got caught in a snaking rut.

Still, no-one crashed, despite cruising most of the time at around 110-120 km/h (70-75 mph).
